“Attend a wedding show” is typically on the To Do list of brides starting to plan a wedding. We would like to make that even more specific by quoting a recent blog posted by the Johnston County Visitor’s Bureau — “go to a wedding show held within the geographical region that you wish to get married.”
Why? Well, in Weddings in Johnston County – Expos and Expectations, according to the JCVB, if you are not familiar with the area, a wedding show will introduce you to vendors within the local wedding industry. And, if you do live in the area where you want to hold your wedding and reception, you still may not know what wedding services are available until you attend a local wedding expo. Think about it — when was the last time that you booked a venue, florist, transportation, caterer or a wedding planner?
So, if you are planning a local wedding in the coming year, begin your search for wedding services at the free 2018 Clayton Wedding Expo here at The Clayton Center on Saturday, February 3, from 10 AM-2 PM. If this date does not work for you, there are two other upcoming expos. The first is at The Farm on Sunday, January 29, from 11 AM-4 PM (admission is $7 in advance; $10 at the door). The Pond at Lazy O Farm will hold its free expo on Saturday, April 7, from 11 AM – 3 PM.
