Rock Legends
Apr 22 @ 8:00 pm
Rock Legends @ The Clayton Center | Clayton | North Carolina | United States

Part rock concert. Part rock tribute. All rock ‘n’ roll.

Rock Legends combines all of these elements to create a show that is the only one of its kind. In this rock and roll revue, created by audience favorite Billy McGuigan, audiences vote, through the power of their applause, for the songs and music they want to hear from the 50s through the 80s. If you loved Billy when he showcased the music of the Beatles in Yesterday & Today a few seasons ago, you are going to want to see this show!

Little Shop Of Horrors
Jul 28 @ 7:00 pm
Little Shop Of Horrors @ The Clayton Center

Celebrate 10 years of Clayton Youth Theater, as they go back to their roots (literally!) and present the very first show they staged in 2007 — the sci-fi musical comedy Little Shop of Horrors.

Seymour Krelborn is a meek and dejected assistant at a floral shop who happens upon a strange plant, which he affectionately names “Audrey II” after his co-worker crush. Little does he know that this strange and unusual plant will develop a soulful R&B voice and an unquenchable thirst for HUMAN BLOOD. With an electrifying 1960s pop/rock score by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman, this charmingly tongue in cheek comedy is sure to leave audiences screaming … with laughter!

ABOUT SHANA TUCKER
The Durham Herald-Sun calls Shana, “An absolute stunner,” and says, “Her original gumbo of jazz, folk and R&B evokes the spirit of Bill Withers and Esperanza Spalding.”

Shana’s style and sound are influenced by her jazz and classical roots, which she deftly weaves with the pop music, movie soundtracks and world music of the 80s and 90s. For the past 5 years, Shana has balanced her theatre, club and festival performances with her role as featured cellist/vocalist in Cirque du Soleil’s KÀ at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. In 2017 she returned to her full-time touring and recording schedule.
