Carolina Youth Theatre’s Backstage Pass camp gives 2nd through 5th grade students a hands-on theatrical experience as they work with the directors and CYT cast members to produce a performance themed around CYT’s summer musical The Wizard of Oz. Participants will spend the week rehearsing scenes, music, and choreography. They will tour the backstage area of CYT and receive daily instruction on different aspects of technical theater. Each participant receives a CYT t-shirt and a complimentary ticket to see a designated performance of The Wizard of Oz. Registration for Backstage Pass will open on May 1, 2019.
