Let singer-songwriter Carrie Newcomer serenade you and your Valentine this weekend when the Palladian Series continues on Saturday, February 10.
Fellow musician Rosanne Cash says “Carrie is a touchstone of authenticity in an image-driven, media-defined musical world. She is a beautiful singer and songwriter, and deeply refreshing.”
Carrie also is described as a “prairie mystic” (Boston Globe) with “a voice as rich as Godiva chocolate” (Austin Statesman). She has performed around the world for humanitarian efforts, with Boston’s WBEZ naming her one of the most influential folk artists of the last 25 years. Carrie is a conversational, introspective songwriter who celebrates and savors the ordinary sacred moments of life and champions interfaith dialogue and progressive spirituality.
Carrie Newcomer will perform at The Clayton Center on Saturday, February 10, at 8 PM. Tickets are $20, plus sales tax and fees.
