After finding success as a recording artist, Hewett continued his singing career, which includes contributing to the second season theme song for the successful sitcom, “Hanging with Mr. Cooper.” Hewett later released two follow up albums, including a self-titled album, “Howard Hewett,” and two gospel albums, “The Journey” and the follow-up, “The Journey Live: From the Heart,” which each found success in their respective genres.
