Since COVID-19 has forced us to take a hiatus from presenting live events, we thought we’d check out what some of our most beloved country and bluegrass entertainers have been up to the past few months.
Marty was here at The Clayton Center just this past season. He and his band, The Fabulous Superlatives, have been in the studio working on a new album. Hear what Marty has to say about the album and other topics in a June 10 interview on Rock & Review (Fox-17 Nashville). Watch the interview here.
If you visit Marty’s Facebook page, you can also watch a rebroadcast of his 2017 Live From Delfest performance. The rebroadcast was a part of Marty’s participation in this year’s DelFest At Home, held in mid May.
Kathy also was featured in the Grand Ol’ Opry’s Circle Sessions At Home, streamed live on June 6. If you watch the complete video, you’ll also see a segment by Lee Roy Parnell, who talks about life at home during the quarantine.
Grammy-winning country artist Pam Tillis recently released a new album, “Looking for a Feeling,” on her own Stellar Cat Records. On April 24 she hosted an at home album release party – check it out here.
While the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is closed, they are spotlighting pieces pulled from the archives of their podcast “Voices in the Hall.” The June 6 rebroadcast spotlights Clayton favorite Ricky Skaggs. Listen here.
