Individual Tickets To Events Go On Sale On Wednesday, September 9
The Clayton Center is proud to announce the 2015-16 Palladian Series – six performances by remarkably talented artists who will capture the attention and the hearts of audiences of all ages.
The season kicks off with the incomparable Annie Moses Band on Saturday, October 24. This family of classically-trained musicians seamlessly blends Appalachian bluegrass, Irish fiddle, beloved classical themes and roots music into a stunning and captivating concert experience. Spend the evening enjoying favorites from Copland, Gershwin and other American originals.
On November 7, technically gifted guitarists Frank Vignola and Vinny Raniolo take the stage. These two jazz players are considered to be among the most extraordinary guitarists performing today.
December 12 brings the 3 Redneck Tenors to town. These real life Broadway and opera stars will rock your holidays with their extraordinary Christmas SPEC-TAC-YULE-AR, featuring a musical feast of classical and pop that will be fun for the whole family.
Surprise your Valentine with a February 13 concert by Franc D’Ambrosio, the world’s longest running regional Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera. This incredibly talented tenor will serenade you and your sweetheart with interpretations of your favorite Broadway tunes.
March is the month for country music. On March 12, Lee Roy Parnell comes to town. For more than 25 years, Parnell has enjoyed a run of success on the country and blues charts with songs like “What Kind of Fool Do You Think I Am” and “Tender Moment.” He has recorded eight studio albums, charted more than 20 singles on the Billboard charts and has been honored with numerous Grammy Award nominations.
The season closes on April 30 with the incomparable Mike Farris, who is fresh off a 2015 Grammy win for Best Roots Gospel Album. Farris will share original material as well as his trademark interpretations of traditional gospel steeped in the influence of rock & roll, New Orleans swagger and vintage Memphis soul.
Tickets to events in the Palladian Series range from $22-$30 (plus taxes and fees). Returning season ticket holders may renew their season subscription beginning Thursday, August 13. Tickets to individual shows in the series go on sale at 10 AM on Wednesday, September 9.
