Schoolhouse Rock! Live explodes onto the stage. The classic Saturday morning cartoon series is updated for a new generation, and features imaginative image projection and a rock n’ roll vibe.
The live-action performance focuses on Tom, a nervous young man on his first day of school as a teacher. Tom turns on the television to calm himself down and is visited by three parts of his personality who remind him just how much fun learning can be.
Childsplay Theatre breathes new life into Schoolhouse Rock, which originally aired on the ABC television network from 1973-1985. The collection of clever, animated shorts taught academic topics including grammar, mathematics, civics and science through entertaining songs and stories. Revisit your school days and introduce your family to unforgettable mega-hits like “Conjunction Junction,” “Just a Bill,” “Interplanet Janet” or “Three is a Magic Number.”
