Shelter & Field Rental

Park shelter rentals are available year round. Shelters are available for public use on a first-come, first-serve basis when not rented. Paid rentals always have priority.

Shelter rentals run in 4 hour blocks.

March 1 - October 31 - 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. 

November 1 - February 29 - 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Whether you take a stroll around the ½ mile trail at Clayton Community Park, take on a new hobbie at the Clayton Community Center, splash in the splash pad at Municipal Park....we are the premier community for active families!

If you are interested in reserving a picnic shelter please visit the Clayton Community Center or reserve online! 

Athletics fields are available for rent: please fill out the Field Rental Request Form (Fillable PDF) and return to the Clayton Community Center for approval. Online field rental requests can also be sent to Trey Meek at tmeek@townofclaytonnc.org

If you are interested in renting a field at Clayton High School (600 S. Fayetteville St), please fill out the Clayton High School Rental Request Form and return it to Trey Meek at tmeek@townofclaytonnc.org

The Clayton Community Center gym is available for rent outside of scheduled programs. If you are interested, please stop by the Clayton Community Center during normal business hours to fill out a gym rental form. A 30-day notice is required.
