The Clayton Center's active group of volunteers, called the Scene Stealers, provide much needed support for staff before, during and after each event.
The Scene Stealers are key cast members who assist the staff by greeting patrons, ushering, scanning tickets, and performing other tasks key to presenting a successful event. Whether they are working alongside an old friend or with someone they've just met, the Scene Stealers are an energetic group of individuals dedicated to community service and to The Clayton Center.
What do The Clayton Center Scene Stealers enjoy most about volunteering with us?
- I enjoy working with The Clayton Center employees and other volunteers. I like meeting longtime season ticket holders and the people that are coming to the Clayton Center for the first time.
- I like to help patrons have a safe and enjoyable experience. I enjoy catching up with other Scene Stealers before patrons arrive. Scene Stealers are appreciated by staff and patrons. I enjoy sampling the shows, including performers I don't know much about.
- It's an opportunity to promote a positive experience for people coming to see shows, especially if it is their first time.
- Meeting guests, viewing shows and being an ambassador for Clayton.
As for The Clayton Center, we could not do what we do without the Scene Stealers!
