Sean of the South, a.k.a. Sean Dietrich, shares his humorous and heartfelt stories of life in the American South on Saturday, April 9, 7pm, at The Clayton Center.
Dietrich is a columnist and novelist whose work has appeared in Newsweek, Southern Living, Garden & Gun, Good Grit, The Tallahassee Democrat, South Magazine, the Bitter Southerner, Thom Magazine, The Birmingham News and The Mobile Press Register. He is the author of 13 books.
Dietrich characterizes himself as a mediocre sailor and fisherman, a biscuit connoisseur and a barbecue competition judge. When he’s not writing, he spends much of his time aboard his 14-foot fishing boat (The S.S. Squirrel), along with his bloodhound, Thelma Lou.
