Make a difference in your community - volunteer!

If we didn't have volunteers, some of our most beloved Town programs and events simply wouldn't happen. It's as simple as that.

ParkParks and Recreation Volunteer (PDF)s and Recreation Volunteers:

Help with park and trail beautification, coach a youth team, work in the community garden, help run the July 4th celebration, prep for our Special Needs Dance, or serve on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee - Parks and Recreation thrive because of volunteers! If you're interested or know a group that's looking for community service opportunities, fill out the Volunteer Form (PDF), email the Parks and Recreation Department or return it to the Clayton Community Center at 715 amelia Church Road. If you have any questions, call 919-553-1550. If you're a high school student, consider joining our Clayton Youth Council. The Clayton Youth Council performs community service and even gets rewarded with trips and adventures!

The excitement of The Clayton Center doesn't stop with the great shows. Also in the spotlight are our volunteers, The Scene Stealers. They are key players in each performance - greeting patrons, ushering guests and managing the concessions areas. Whether they're passing out programs with an old friend or taking up tickets with someone they've just met, the Scene Stealers are an energetic group of individuals dedicated to the arts and to The Clayton Center. Boards and Committees:

The Town of Clayton depends on citizen volunteers to help our staff plan and organize many aspects of the Town. By volunteering your time, experience and skills you can serve your community in many ways! There is a simple application and interview process when positions are available.
